Bike thefts

Dear resident

Over the past few weeks we have seen an increase in push bike thefts in the Warrington North area. In particular, the Orford area.

If you use a push bike, please make sure you are using a effective lock such as a D-lock to secure your bike. Lock the wheels to the frame where you can and also the frame to a secure grounded object. Try to park your bike in the vicinity of CCTV and if you haven't already, get your bike registered to www.Bikeregister.com.

Over the coming weeks I will be posting on Social media and Cheshire Alerts dates and locations where we will be conducting FREE bike marking events. Please follow us on Facebook (Warrington North Police) to keep updated. 

To register you bike you will need to bring the bike with you and some personal details will be needed to complete the registration. 

If you intend to bring your bike to any of these events, please make sure the underside of the frame by the pedals is clean as we will need the cereal numbers printed into the frame to complete.
